1. I write in cursive because in the 4th grade, my substitute teacher while my teacher was on maternity leave made us all write in cursive. Even if we wrote an answer in print, the answer wouldn’t count if it wasn’t in loops! Writing in script is faster anyways!Picking up a pen between lettters is for chumps!

2. I peel my clementines in one big spiral because a girl I lived next to for half a year in elementary school had a chair in her house by this Scandinavian designer inspired by an orange peel.I think it’s this one if I’m not mistaken!

3. Learning about the concept of russ from a norwegian friend of mine in high school and asking them how people don’t get annoyed with the country getting shut down by 18-year olds every year and she said: “More often people are happy for them because even if it’s loud, they remember fondly that that was them once too.” It’s reframed how I view louder/bigger displays of joy and celebration as happiness they deserve to have too, rather than just thinking about myself and how it could impact me as a “nuisance”.
